This week I looked at David Brin's Kiln People. First time to read a book like this, still science fiction but with a Noir-crime feel to it. A fun detective story with an enjoyable twist. http://4thwallfly.blogspot.hk/2014/10/book-review-kiln-people-by-david-brin.html

Recently read Gemma Malley's 'The Killables', a science fiction novel that draws elements from George Orwell's 1984 and Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. Set in a dystopian future, it tracks the story of Evie, a young woman of the City. The City is a bastion of civilisation in a world ruined by the Horrors, but fortunately for the City's people, evil has been indentified and surgically removed from them. http://4thwallfly.blogspot.hk/2014/09/book-review-killables-by-gemma-malley.html
